This December issue takes us to the Contemporary Art Museum to unhook "One Hundred Million Stars" near the comic-strip book galaxy. I am sure there will be plenty for everybody, so no need to
rush -it is on until January 16th 2000. Some more light coming from Senegal with the "Ten stars fallen from heaven",
stars which are said to have marked the birth of the Cape Verde Islands. Viviane Lièvre and Jean-Yves Loude have come back from their adventures with bags full of texts, images and sounds...
The other event of the month is the tribute paid to the painter Paula Modersohn-Becker (1876-1907) at the Printing Museum. This exhibition deserves all our attention since art history has forgotten this young woman who
died at the age of 31. Even though, "Les Cahiers du Musée National d'Art Moderne" (The Journal of the National Museum of Modern Art) had composed a remarkable dossier about this artist back in 1982.
If you wish to know more about the exhibitions held in our region, I cannot but encourage you to browse the MAPRA (Rhône-Alpes Plastic Art Centre) .
And of course, as you may have noticed in our last issue, you will now have the possibility to get access to a great number of chosen articles just by clicking on the "Don't Miss It" column.
We wish you all the best for the coming festivities.
